more/less of a +单数名词是一个使用方法，但这里less and less of a presence中的presence，出席出现是一个不可数名词。为何出现这样的情况，是错误了吗？

在美国英语中，presence可以是可数名词（见《韦氏高阶英汉双解词典》）。最好把 have less and less of a presence 作为一种搭配来记忆，意思是“愈加少”。
