请问同样表达倍数, double, two times, twice有什么区别是什么呢? 同样还有three times, triple.

这是倍数表达法。两倍用 twice/double, 不说two times。三倍用three times/triple 均可。三倍以上用“基数词 + times” 表示，一半用 half 表示。

结构： “倍数 + the size of...” 表达法。

使用方法与amount相同的名词，容易见到的有：size（尺寸），weight（重量），height (高度）,depth（深度），width (宽度）,age（年龄）,length（长度），speed（速度），rate （比率）等。比如：

I am more than twice his age. 我的年龄是他的两倍多。

This river is twice/double the width of that one. 这条河是那条河的两倍宽。

The length of that bridgeis three times/triple that of this bridge. 这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。
