【参考译文】拿薪水的经理代表公司（经营），他们直接与工人联系，也了解工人的需要。但即便如此的经理也极少对工人个人状况有很亲近的认知，而在那些正遭淘汰的旧式家族父母制企业中，雇主一般对工人的个人状况有很亲近的认知。
【我的疑问】译文中，把but even he翻译成但即便如此的经理。如果让我翻译，我会翻译成“但经理即便有极少的对工人个人状况有很亲近的认知”。我的主要问题就是，为何作者在翻译的时候，会把副词even翻译成定语来修饰he？

此处网友对参考译文的理解有误。原文提到 paid manager 对工人及其需要比较知道，even 后面的 he 就是指这个 paid manager，前后强转折的关系，原译者把 he 还原 paid manager时，依据行文的需要，翻译为“如此的经理”。要说对应的话：
“如此的经理”= he = the paid manager，与 even 无关，不是把 even 翻译成了形容词“如此的”。
