汉语中说的“高中”，说成英语是 Senior High 还是 Senior High School？前面需不需要定冠词？

其意思是说：senior high school 也可说成 senior high，主要用于美国英语中，用于指14岁至十八岁的青年上的学校（即等于中国的“高级中学”）
类似说法有 junior high school 也可说成 junior high，也用于美国英语中，用于指12岁至14岁的青年上的学校（即等于中国的“初级中学”）。《牛津高阶英语词典》的有关讲解是：junior high school noun [C, U] a school for young people between the ages of 12 and 14
注意junior high 与 junior school 不同：后者用于英国英语中，用于指7至11岁的小孩上的学校（即等于中国的“小学”）。《牛津高阶英语词典》的有关讲解是：junior school noun [C, U] a school for children between the ages of 7 and 11 （英国）小学
▲关于这种使用方法前用不需要冠词的问题，大致状况是：如果是用作一般名词，其前一般有冠词或其他限定词；如果是用作专有名词，其前一般不需要冠词或其他限定词；另外，如果是“上学”这种抽象定义，其前一般也不需要冠词。如：
