necessary后接介词to还是for

表示对是必需的或必不可少的，形容词 necessary 后面是接介词 to 还是 for？我发现：有些人说要用 to，有些人说要用 for，也有些人说用 to 和 for 都可以。请专家老师给个明确的使用方法，谢谢！

necessary 后可接 for 或 to，意思上没不同。有时后面可接 in 。比如：
Food is necessary for life. 食品是日常所必需的。
Careful investigation is necessary in the distribution of awards. 仔细调查研究对发奖是必要的。
注：在 It is necessary for us to do this. 等句子里，for 不可改作 to；由于 for 在此引导动词的逻辑主语，而 to 却无此功能。在 Their job is important and necessary to us all. 这一句中，necessary 后的 to 不可改为 for，由于其前的 important 只能跟 to，不可以跟 for。
