1. Small beer
酒量有限，啤酒就来一小杯？ 想要小酌一下的吃货们，可别打错了算盘。Small beer即使是要和啤酒扯上关系，意思也是淡啤酒，而一般它指的是不重要的人或事，常常会用在对比中，如：Compared to all that it had happened to him recently, this latest crisis1 seemed fairly2 small beer.（比起近期发生在他身上的事，这场危机算不能什么。）
2. With a grain/pinch of salt
加点儿盐？如此理解的小伙伴们恐怕是口味偏重吧！这个短语其实是想说对某件事持怀疑态度，不太相信。例：He seems confident, but you should take what he says with a grain of salt.（他看着挺自信，不过他说的话你可不可以全信。）

吃得不爽，暴怒 要掀桌子？吃货们还是先冷静一下吧！Turn the tables的意思是扭转局势、改变局面，一般表示占据优势、劣势的双方互换了地方。比如：You say your boyfriends been cheating on you? Why dont you turn the tables on him and start going out with someone else.（你说你的男朋友对你不忠？为何不以其人之道还治其人之身？你也可以约会其他人啊。）
