大学考试|考研阅读的最高境界--考研阅读正确答案解码

考研阅读问题的正确答案常常具备下列五大特点之中的一个或几个:

1. 特点一---内容:常与文章的主旨有关。

即常常涉及文章的中心思想。有些文章后面几个问题的正确答案都对应文章的主旨,因此,应该注意正确表达了原文主旨的选项。比如:2004年第三篇。

2. 特点二---地方:常对应段首、段尾和转折处。

在前面的做题步骤中已经指出段首、段尾和转折处是文章的重点,也是常出题的地方,值得关注。比如:2005年第一篇。

3.特点三---改写:常对原文进行同义替换、正话反说或反话正说。

同义替换、正话反说或反话正说是考研阅读三种最容易见到的答案撰写方法,知道它们就等于能从命题角度把握问题。比如:2000年第一篇。

4. 特点四---语气:常含有不愿定语气词和委婉语气词。

有的问题的答案,特别是推理题的答案中常包括不愿定语气词和委婉语气词,如may等,以显示推理的相对性。比如:2007年第二篇。

5. 特点五---特质:常具备概括性和深刻性。

因为考研阅读考查的对象是文章要素与重点,因此答案一般具备概括性和深刻性,所以选择答案时对于包括过于琐碎细节的选项要警惕。

做考研阅读问题时,假如能以原文为依据,并结合上述正确答案的五大特点进行考虑,结果会比较理想。下列两道题是2007年考研英语阅读部分第二篇的考试试题:

27. What can be inferred about intelligence testing from Paragraph 3?

[A] People no longer use IQ scores as an indicator1 of intelligence.

[B] More versions of IQ test are now available on the Internet.

[C] The test contents and formats2 for adults and children may be different.

[D] Scientists have defined the important elements of human intelligence.

29. We can conclude from the last paragraph that

[A] test scores may not be reliable indicators3 of ones ability.

上述两道题是推理题,其中第一道的题干含有inferred,第二道的题干含有conclude。依据上面的第四个特点---推理题的答案中常出现may等不愿定语气词,可以初步确定上面两道题的答案分别为(C)与(A)(选项中的粗体为本文作者所加),再对照原文,发现与上述判断一致。
