using是否可以虚化为介词用

牛津词典上有个例子

[U] 放射疗法 the treatment of cancer and other diseases using radiation

using这里修饰 treatment of cancer and other diseases

还是修饰treatment?

这位网友一直“突发奇想”，当然更不是坏事。

网友觉得，目前分词 using 可用作介词，就像其他分词介词那样，比如：regarding 关于　concerning 关于　respecting 关于　including 包含　considering 考虑到 providing 假设。

不过，现在词典尚未把 using 列入介词使用方法，或许伴随语言进步，以后可以。目前应该仍然根据目前分词理解。这里，目前分词短语 using radiation 作treament 的定语。
