书上在说到动词 appear 用于 there be 句式时举了如此一个例子：
There appears to have been a big storm recently.
这里用的不是 there appears to have 吗？为何没用 there appears to be 呢？
▲你的句子没错，只是动词 to be 变成了完成式 to have been。又如：
There appears to have been an accident. 仿佛出了事故。

There seems to have been a mistake. 看来一直就有错。
There seems to have been a deliberate silence from the newspapers. 报界好像故意对此事维持沉默。
