【答】所谓“引导性动词”，实质是“系动词”的别称。当主语和后面的名词、形容词、介词短语发生关系时，又缺少相应的动词，这个时候就用“系动词”，由于具备“引导性”，引导后面的各种成分，所以就叫做“引导性动词”。比如：

Tom is in the classroom.

She seemed very happy.

“系动词”本身有肯定的词义，但不可以独立作谓语，需要与表语一块构成谓语。

关于“引导性形容词”：

就是用形容词引导一个成分，比如，引导不定式甚至从句。假如没后面的成分，句子意思就不完整。比如：

She is sure to pass the examination. 她必然会通过考试。

The potatoes are ready to be dug up. 快要收成土豆了。

I am not really willing to spend an evening there. 我其实不愿在那儿消磨一夜晚。

We are glad that he will go abroad.

She is sure that this is true.
