A:Come on tell me! What was your Paris trip like?

B:Wonderful. I really had a fabulous time.

A:So is Paris really romantic like everyone says?
A:巴黎真的像大家所说的那样浪漫吗?
B:You bet! There is even a square called St. Michel where lovers kiss. They chew gum first and then stick it on the ground to prove their love.
B:当然了!那里有一个叫做圣米歇尔的广场，男女朋友们常在那里KISS。他们咬一块口香糖，然后把它黏在地上以证明他们的爱情。
A:Did you?
A:你黏了吗?
B:I did! This French boy asked me if I wanted to and so I said yes!

A:Hah! He must have been good at French Kissing then!

B:Actually he wasn't. His breath stank of tobacco even though he was chewing gum. It seems that mot French people smoke and cigarettes there are very strong.
B:其实不是。即使吃了口香糖，他的呼吸也携带烟草味。仿佛大部分法国人都抽烟，而且那里的烟草味道非常重。
A:What did you like most about Paris?
A:你最喜欢巴黎的什么?
B:The cafe scene. Paris is full of cafes where you can sit outside drinking your coffee and eating croissants and watching people pass by. It is pure bliss. But one thing was missing.
B:咖啡店。巴黎到处都是咖啡店，你可以坐在外面喝咖啡，吃羊角面包，看路上的行人匆匆而过。这真是一种天赐之福。不过我错过了一件事。
